Felix looked round. He was following them. Why? Dident he have all the meat he wanted already? "I think the aim is to catch it ourselves, you know." Felix told him, though not unkindly. "All that thrill of the chase stuff an all".

Artemis had followed them all watching Emyt hunt was interesting, like him she had a small pack at her waist. A good hunter would, she was beggining to respect these to males, even if they were annoying and rude, she hoped her heard that. As Emyt followed the other two she emerged from the shadows and stepped out, she noticed how small she was compared to the otehrs, only about the size of a 11 year old child. She fell onto her hands and feet her muscles changing to allow this easily and smelled the earth. ot much of any interests so she stood up.

Now Sina realised she was being followed by all three. She was about to turn and respond to Emyt's question, but Felix beat her to it. Running a hand through her short icy-colored hair, she sighed.
It was about then she also noticed his eyes. She hadn't seen them before his bandana slipped off as he was hunting. They... glow... [/color] That, I must admit, is not something you see everey day. And most humans would say that I'm rather freaky... Remembering Emyt's mind-reading abilities, Sina promptly shushed him before the Lycon could say anything else as rude. "Yes, I suppose that would have something to do with it. I mean, I wouldn't mind sharing, it's Nergur who..." She glanced at Artemis, who was now... sniffing the ground? Trying to surpress a giggle at the rather funny sight, the girl suddenly asked, "So, smell anything?"[/center][/size] |

Felix was finding this rather funny. So were they playing some sort of weird version of follow-the-leader game or something? It diffinetly felt like that to him. And as for Artemis snithing the ground? That looked funny to him as well but he guessed it must be something to do with the animal side of her. He couldent help looking away from them all and grinning at the whole sitaution though.

Emyt watched the others, frowning slightly. His glowy eyes narrowed, though he really didn't need to.
"I see." He said abruptly, biting on his lip and turning his head towards Sina. "That creature of yours is quite rude. But thanks for telling me that my eyes glow. I never knew that." The white haired boy grinned.

"Yes, the earth here is rotten and a deer caught its fur n a branch and a few drops of blood fell here" she said raising her eyebrows at felix and Sina, of course they would not understand the workings of her brain, the way a hunter had to study their every sturrounding, Mabye Emyt would agree with her, he seemed to understand hunting more than them.

Felix looked round at Emyt. "Oh yer, they do glow. You radioactive or something?" He joked.
And oh, so thats why she was sniffing the ground. He dident have a perticluy great sense of smell. Most birds dont have a sense of smell at all. It was probebly a good thing, else he would have the scent of burning in his nose all the time.

Sina sighed. "Yes. Very rude indeed, and I've got to put up with it every day." Yet again, Nergur gave her a little nip, and she calmed down a bit, her annoyance subsiding.
"So, you never knew about it? Really? Then why, may I ask, do you keep a strip of cloth over your eyes?" The girl inquired, changing the subject. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Felix and the Huntress talking. Artemis had been somewhat right- Sina erself knew nothing about hunting. Usually when she allowed Nergur to hunt, she crept to the back of his mind so she wouldn't have to pay attention to the gory mess that were his dining habits. However, the interesting part was that he never used his teeth or claws as weapons for hunting, only magic. Perhaps she should begin to pay attention to how to be a lycon more often. [/center] |

Felix heard Sinas question to Emyt. it was a good one that and something, he too had wondered about. Why woudl somone purposflully cover up their eyes? Sounded to him like the sort of things that some weird monks who belonged to an odd religion would do, way up in a mountain to help get to know their innerselves. Or something like that. Well, Emyt deffinetly dident stike him as that sort of person, so what reason did he have?

Emyt smirked. "Look at my eyes again. Closer this time." He said, looking over at Sina with wide, watchful look to his eyes. The light soon faded all together, and nothing was there but some gashes and scars.
"The glow to my 'eyes' is something I use to conceal the fact that I have none." He smirked. "Scary, eh? Makes ya wonder what happened to me, no?" Emyt straightened up to his full height and turned his head back towards Artemis. His 'eyes' glowed again.
"The deer must be injured, then?"
((He's a complicated ol' boy. I feel bad for him. I know he's confusing, but he's a confusing character  ))

Without meaning to, Felix realled back in shock at the sight of his eyes. Or lack of. This coused him to trip over a tree root and fall over onto his bumb. He jupmed up with a curse and looked at the ground to check that he hadent accidently set anything on fire. He hadent but he had crumpled his tail feathers. While he fussed over them, trying to straighten them back out, he listened to what Emyt had to say. Yes, he deffinetly was left wondering what had happened but he dident want to ask. Mybe, what ever it was that had happened to him had unhinged him in some way. It would deiifetly explain his odd behavour. He had heard of terrible things happening to people that they never trually got over. Was it the same with Emyt?

Emyt heard Felix fall, and he sighed. "Surprised? And yes, something terrible happened." He said, turning to grin at Felix. "But ah, I'm not going to become the center of attention just yet." Emyt explained softly. "We have to look for that deer, remember? You guys have to eat." And without saying anything else, the tiefling left, the bloody pack from the other fallen deer slowly dripping.

Sina blinked and took a surprised step back, managing to compose herself before falling over as Felix had. Nergur, yet again, made some sort of rude comment, but the girl was to distracted to pay attention, much less shut him up.
She blinked twice, attempting to clear her head. The shocked expression had faded, and one of consentration took it's place, but it was clear the girl was now less confident in just how 'sane' Emyt really was. He had no eyes, yet he talked of the subject as if it were a joke. In fact, Sina was even feeling a bit frightened of him. Nergur immediatly attempted to comfort her.
Come now... if he were really somebody to fear, wouldn't he have tried something already?
Sina took a moment to calm down, and cleared her thoughts. She glanced over at Felix, (Who was now streightening out his tailfeathers,) Artemis, then back at Emyt, her gaze less certain then it was before he'd shown them his little secret.
Apparently, however, the demon boy wasn't about to share with them what had happened quite yet. Slightly annoyed with him, Sina nodded in agreement with what he'd just said- indeed, Sina was still hungry, and there was food not far off, according to the clues Artemis had pointed out. Not surprised when Emyt turned and wandered off without as much as a "come on, then," the girl began to follow. [/center] |

Felixs face went bright red with embaresment as he strightened his tail feathers. When he had finished and his face had returned to its usual reather pale self he straightened up and started off in search of food, his belly growling as he went.

Emyt suddenly stopped. They were to hunt again, but Emyt really did not feel the need. "You may go on ahead. I can get a fire starting.... If you would like to eat cooked food." He shook his head, walking over to a tree, throwing down his pack of supplies and turning his head. The tiefling-elf yawned, sliding onto his bum and yawning. He was bored, and was not abou to go hunting for someone else. Change of heart, eh?
