The panther looked over at Kaden, then smirked.
"Comfort him." Emilisa purred, flicking her tail and nudging him further into the cave with her nose.
Emyt heard the panther and Kaden. He growled. "Just go away." He muttered, retreating deeper into the cave until his back touched the end. His eyes turned black, and he let out a soft whimper.
Aww, you scared?[/color]Deqasef teased him. Emyt shuddered.[/size]

Kaden didn't seem phased at all that Emilisa could speak. After all the world had gone upside down, had it not? He sighed one last time and entered the cave until he was standing in front of Emyt. "Why are you running from me?" he asked, his eyes looking hurt. "Did I do something wrong? Did I offend you?"
This is going to be good.
A growl escaped Kaden's throat as he snapped back at her. That's quite enough C'zrin. I don't need this right now. ...Emyt doesn't either.

Emyt looked up at Kaden, then looked away. His cheeks turned red. The boy sighed, then looked at Kaden straight in the eyes.
"I thought... After you heard... You.. You wouldn't want to.. To be with me anymore..." He murmured, looking up at him sadly. "I.. You.." He seemed at a loss for words. "Gay." He said, looking more like the younger child instead of the older companion.

Kaden laughed, more-so at the broken up sentence fragments 'I, you, gay' in a row than the idea of himself leaving. "Didn't I say you're not going to get rid of me so easily?" He knelt down to be eye level with Emyt. "Besides, it doesn't bother me. I told you, I'm bisexual. I don't really care if you're gay or straight or whatever. Everyone has their own rights to be how they want. I'm not going to abandon a good friend just because of something about them. I wouldn't be a very good friend myself if I did, now would I?"

Emyt watched Kaden, and he sighed. "Yea.." He looked away, biting on his lower lip."I'm sorry." He said, smiling weakly. "I just.. Got.. Scared." The boy muttered, looking over at Kaden then back at the ground. (SHORT  )

"It's fine," Kaden smiled and then stood up. He offered a hand to help Emyt stand. "We all have times we're not so strong, eh? Now what do you say we get out of this cave and stop sitting here like bums?"

Emyt smiled, then grasped Kaden's hand and stood up. He sighed, grinning weakly. "Thanks." He said softly, looking down at the panther that had brought Kaden over.
He bent and kissed her on her head. "Thanks, Emi." He said, standing back up and looking back where he had thrown the ruby sword. He picked it up.
About time, you lazy... Demon... Sheep.. hybrid.[/color] Emyt scowled, then grasped his sword, hissing.

Again Kaden couldn't help but laugh at the comment directed to Deqasef. "If you want help, let me know. I have a black diamond sword I could use as hammer. Not much can break diamond you know."
You wouldn't... Would you? C'zrin asked in fear.

Emyt grinned. "I'd love to have your help." He said, swirling the ruby blade around. "Shouldn't be that hard to break." He grinned.

"See now last time you had an outburst it didn't go over well, did it Deqasef?" Kaden asked. He drew the black diamond sword which gained loudly voiced protests from C'zrin. The poor dragoness certainly didn't want to be used to destroy her own friend.
Put me down! Put me back this instant Kaden! I simply must insist- nay demand- that you do!
A grin flashed on Kaden's face as he again repeated his favorite come-back phrase. "Bite me. What're you going to do about it?"

Kaden couldn't help but laugh as well, especially when C'zrin sighed her relief. "Looks like we've successfully conquered our inner dragons. Now what?" He seemed to pause then gave Emyt a poke. "Well I still have my not-so-inner demon to keep me company so I think I'm good for now."
That was a reckless stunt you pulled! Never do that to me and Deqasef again!
I won't promise anything.

Emyt seemed to have completely zoned out for a minute. when Kaden poked him, the white haired boy nearly jumped 4 feet in the air, looking startled. "What?!" He said, looking at Kaden. He blushed.
"Sorry. I zoned out, and when someone pokes me, I spaz." Yea right. Spazzy, spazzy Emyt boy. Kaden, poke him every time he zones out and see what happens after a few weeks."[/color] Deqasef snickered.
Emyt smiled, then took the ruby sword and pulled it onto his back. "I'm bored." He said finally.[/size]

Kaden- who had already sheathed C'zrin's black diamond sword- nodded. "I'm pretty bored myself. I think that fighting boredom is better than fighting those crazy beasts though right? Still it was more exciting than sitting around."

Emyt looked mildly surprised by what the two were arguing about. He blushed again, then looked back at the forest. "So.. What now?" Emyt asked, looking at the pond and the willow tree. Suddenly, the boy got an idea. He walked over to Kaden. His gesture was totally unexpected.
The tiefling picked the boy up in his arms, then lugged him all the way to the pond. He tossed him in, sword and clothes and all. He grinned.
