For once, Kaden was stunned into silence. He looked down at the ground and clenched his fists. "Maybe because you're my friend like it or not?" he said out loud even if Emyt wasn't there to hear. He ran to the ruby sword. Despite the effort, and the fact that he wasn't compatible with it, he pulled it from the trunk. He dropped it on the ground and again clenched a hand over his heart. Two dragons was too much without a fourth person to even the connection out. "Agh!" he cried out in pain.

As Emyt left, the boy trembled with hunger. His eyes widened, and he stopped dead in his tracks. Red eyes slowly darkened to the colour of blood, and he turned his head to glance back at Kaden.
The demonic side of his grew as the white haired boy felt his canine teeth elongate. No, he was not a vampire, but he had some characteristics that often mislead people. He turned on his heels, eyes glowing still. Letting out a low growl, the boy burst into a full out sprint, aiming towards Kaden's retreating figure.
Kaden! KADEN! TURN AROUND![/color] The red dragon roared, trying to warn the younger boy. Emyt pounced, trying to knock Kaden on the ground and pin him there. More like a creature than a human, Emyt would stare down at Kaden, should he tackle him. If not, the boy would flip head over heels in front of the boy, looking a little confused before taking another swipe at him.[/size]

Kaden spun just in time to be knocked down. He let out another scream and looked up in Emyt with absolute horror. His chest still burned from the overload of dragon influence and it didn't help that his heart was going about a hundred miles an hour. He trembled and tried to sit up but being pinned made it impossible. He looked to his hand and noticed he couldn't reach his own sword. It was only and inch away but that inch couldn't be closed when he had no ability to move. "Emyt!" he tried. "Emyt get off!"

The demon looked at Kaden, grinning. "I told you not to follow me," He said, his voice lower than usual and taking on the voice of the demon in his memory flash. The boy lowered his head, the fangs dripping with saliva.
"I told you..." He growled, shifting the boy around to get a better grasp. With that small movement, Kaden would be able to reach his sword. The white haired boy smiled, his blood-red eyes glowing more and more. "I told you...." He repeated, sharp nails scrabs of dooming at Kaden's clothes. "You shouldn't of come." He whispered, leaning his head down to Kaden's ear.
"Now you die."

Kaden grabbed his sword, closing the inch when he felt the grip readjust. His eyes turned into C'zrin's in a mimic. The shadows burst forth from it and wrapped around the two of them until C'zrin herself was there. She growled, drips of her own saliva flowing down on Emyt's back. Though it was just an illusion it would feel real and those drops would be red-hot despite their black colour.
I won't let him harm you. Even if you are a jerk.

The demon let out a great scream as the saliva from the illusion of C'zrin appeared. Emyt started to crumble, feeling the pain reach throughout his whole body. He shuddered, letting the boy go and letting himself fall onto the ground, feeling the pain burn through him. His eyes flashed from hazel, to red, to a black. They continued to flash these colours, and his hair did the same with white and brown from the memory.
Finally, the boy collapsed with his eyes red and hair white. Emyt's teeth stayed long and sharp, and blood dribbled from his mouth, forming a small puddle.
Emyt! What happened?![/color] The connection was back.
Bit my damned tongue.[/color] The boy responded, but his body wasn't moving. My back feels like I just cut it in half.[/color] Emyt sighed out loud, slowly sitting up. He was trembling, and his mouth was dripping with blood. He licked it away.
Looking over at Kaden, his eyes flashed again, and he looked away. He couldn't bring himself to talk to the boy no longer.[/size]

C'zrin's shadowy self swirled a moment or two then as if by a force beyond this world was sucked back into the black diamond blade. Kaden got up shakily. His whole body was full of adrenaline to the point of feeling like if a leaf dropped he would jump. He brushed the dirt off of himself and glanced at Emyt. He didn't know what to say. He decided against sympathy since that had gotten him into this mess to begin with. "Forgiven." he shrugged and turned away. Now the two were back to back even if not touching.

Emyt turned to look over at Kaden. He sighed. "I'm sorry I got mad at you." He muttered, looking at the drips of blood on the ground. Demon stood, then stretched. "I'm going to go back to the cave... I think we might have some leftover meat that's uncooked." He murmured, taking the ruby sword and slinging it back onto his back.
The time he went over to the camp, a panther was sitting on top of the cave. He was glaring at Emyt. "Oh great, you hate me too?" He muttered.
May I ask why there is a panther on the rock-cave-thing?[/color]
I dont know. It's probably hungry too.[/color] Emyt ignored the big cat and grabbed a leather bag, pulling out some bloody deer meat. He tossed a slab towards the cat, who bit into it with her sharp fangs. Emyt did the same, but he only sucked out the blood. He didnt care if Kaden came and saw him; he was HUNGRY.[/size]

Kaden turned around but only followed to be close enough to talk. "I never said I hated you you know." he said with a simple shrug. The boy leaned against the rocks outside of the cave nonchalantly. He closed his eyes and held his right hand over the diamond sword's hilt. "I don't see why you think I would."

Emyt sighed. "Usually, when somebody tries to drink your blood, you hate 'em. Especially if they're your friend." The boy said, still licking at the blood with his red eyes turning into a contented black. He looked over at the panther, who was still on the top of the rock. He sighed.
"Do you know how to get rid of a panther?" He asked suddenly, still sucking at the juices in his food.

He looked up at the cat, finally deciding to open his eyes lazily. Kaden paused and tapped the hilt's gem. "C'zrin...little pest control please?" he asked.
There was a sort of huffing noise and once again the dragoness appeared. She growled in the panther's face. Her teeth were bared and her talons looked like they could simply crush the cat. Hopefully it would be enough to frighten it away.
Meanwhile Kaden had continued to speak. "I said I forgave you. You're the one who ran off to try to find something to eat afterward. I don't hate you. Frankly I don't think I ever could hate you. You're not one of those things that destroyed my village."

As if to mock the shadowy illusion, the panther yawned at C'zrin's face. The black creature suddenly bounded off the cave rock and walked over to Emyt. Hazel eyes narrowed, and the cat pounced onto Emyt's chest.
The boy was completely bewildered. "The heck?!" He asked, looking at the big cat on his chest. It yawned, showing its sharp teeth. It licked the boy's face, soon getting off and rubbing it's body against Emyt. The demon blinked, then stared at the panther before grabbing her tail and examining it.
"You silly rascal!" The white haired boy said, rubbing the panther. It purred, licking his cheek. "How'd you find me after all these darn years?" He asked with a grin. "You silly girl." He muttered, standing up and checking the black cat over with his hand. She seemed in fine condition. He sighed, looking back at Kaden with a wicked grin.

C'zrin snorted, small whisps of black smoke trailing from her nostrils. Well fine then! She then disappeared back into the sword lazily.
Tilting his head, Kaden couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "A friend of yours I assume? Mind giving me a little background information, Emyt? I'm more than just a tad confused. First you want the panther gone now you're having a happy reunion with it."

"I didn't know it was her until I looked at her tail." The boy replied, laying halfway on the panther that was looking at Kaden curiously. "I rescued her when she was caught. I fed her and trained her to do some tricks. Weird, but true." He said, sitting back up and looking at the panther. "I wonder if she still knows some stuff." He muttered, ten touched her nose and stood up with a swift motion.
The panther looked confused, then growled, sitting on her hind legs and raising one paw towards Emyt's head. Emyt smiled, rubbing her head. "Yup. She's all good. She used to be my hunting partner." The panther looked over at Kaden and bounded towards him.
"She only bites a little." Emyt said.

Kaden laughed, holding his hand out to the panther gently. "A little? Well okay that's some reassurance then, Emyt. I'm not worried. C'zrin only bites a little too." The joke was meant to be that C'zrin's words often enough stung as if being bitten. He hoped it made sense to Emyt since the demon also had a dragon within.
