The moment Hokuze's paws touched the cliff, he stumbled forward. When he was just far enough from its edge not to fall off he folded his wings and let out a sigh. He was exhausted. J'guntir wasn't too pleased that he'd run himself into the ground. "Man I'm beat."
You're damn lucky that's all you are.
Hush up, J'guntir. You're no better.

Skys landing was less smooth. She pretty much crashed, reather then landed. She had been going too fast and had despratky tried to back pedel but had just ended up crashing to earth all the same.
As she got to her feet, groaning and shacking all the dust off herself, Merkblood landed neatly nest to her.

Hokuze chuckled and walked over, giving her a reassuring pat with his own wing, touching her between the shoulders. "It's okay. Crash landings always happen the first time. You did really well."
At least she didn't hit a tree, Hokuze. J'guntir commented cheekily, reminding the grey wolf of his first landing attempt. It hadn't been a good one.

"Yes" Merblood agreed, I did terribly first time I tried to fly and my crash landing was much more epicly bad then ours was. She grinned and shook her head as though she coudk not belive she had ever been so clumbsy. Sky smiled tentivly, liking the attention but also embarresed by it and her poor landing.

Hokuze stretched his wings a little then stretched out much in a feline manner. "Alright Princess Merkblood... Where are we headed? Surely you had someplace up here in mind instead of just loafing around near the edge of a cliff?"

"Of couse" Princess Merkblood said haughtaly as she moved away from the platform they had landed on on started to climb down some stair like rock, partly hidden behind lush forest vegetation. If you hadent known it was there you wouldent have been able to find it. Merkblood quickly dissaperaed from view and Sky shot after her, not wanting to get left behind.

"Wait up!" he called, chasing after them. "Guys! Oh come on!" He was of course exhausted, injured, and tired from the fight with the other wolves. His breathing was labored. "Wait uuup!"

Murkblood looked round in surprise. She had forgotten how quickly you went out of sight going down teh stair like pile of boulders she was on. She stopped moving, cousing Sky to almost crash into her, and waited for him to join them.

Hokuze caught up once she allowed it and stood there for a moment hesitantly while he panted. His feathered wings were tight against his body and his fur stuck up in odd directions, something that only happened when he was really a mess. He couldn't help but chuckle and offer a smile.
"Thanks for waiting up."
(Merkblood said there may be more Howlinka around, right? Can I claim one since you have two characters already?)

(Sure, I was hoping you would. What about there being a family? Maybe a couple of over protective parents and one or two young pups?)
She nodded vaguly to him and continued to push her way through the foliege. On one side of them there was sheer rock, on the other a forest. The rocks they went down where all shapes and sizes but made a rough staircase. After a short while, the faint sound of water cascaeding down reached their ears and as they wound thsemselves down the rock face, the roks suddenly became covered in moss and all slippy. Then the forest was replaced by a waterfall. The small space between the rock was slippy, so Merkblood padded carefully across it. She warned the others of the danger, having to shout very loudly to be heard over the din of the crashing sheet of water. About half way down the width of the watterfal, the rock face had a huge gap in it, leeding to the spacies cave that the Howlinkas often sheltered in.

Hokuze's eyes widened. "Wow... it's beautiful." he admitted with a smile. No wonder the Howlinka who managed to escape the oppression of the world roosted here. It was amazing.

Merkblood seemd to hesitate and sniffed the air "Seems as though there are others here." Sky looked scared as Merkblood opened her mouth again and shouted "I, Princess Merkblood and two friends of mine have arrived. Please show yourself." It wasnt a request though, it was clear from her voice that she expected them to obay.
A rather timid looking light purple howlinka with dark green eyes and scaling in deep purple down her legs appeared round the corner. She also had some scaling round her eyes and the fur round her neck was longer then normal, giving the imprssion that she had a thick purple mane. The effect was her stricking. Two pups suddenly peeked their heads out from under her fur and another figure moved in the shadows behind them. (Your baby!)
