He spun, turning his back to her to face the oncoming wolves. "Go!" he commanded. His voice got sharper then softened when he continued to speak. "Be careful Sky. I don't exactly know how many there will be or if they split up. Don't get yourself hurt."

Go? And leave him to right them himself? Wait, he was a Howlinka1 He could probably beat them hands down... still she dident like the thought of just abandoneing him. All the same she backed swiftly away behind a large bush and watched, telling herself she would just see how many were comming before fleeing.

Hokuze knew she was still there. He had higher senses...but he figured if she wanted to stay she had the right. He couldn't force her to do anything. He roared to the oncoming wolves and hoped his voice would carry. "Alright! You mutts asked to fight a Howlinka right? Well if that's what you want then that's what you GET!"

The bushes and undergrowth russled as several wolves slinked forward. Thye were snarling, the fur on their backs standing on end. There were about 12 and Sky, from her hidding place recognised as teh pack who truned on her once her parents had died. There were more scuffles behind them though as another dozen wolves skulked farward, and then double that again. Three or four of the local wolf packs, suually mortal enemys had joined together to help kill her and this old Howlinka threat come again.

Hokuze, now a huge monsterous being, laughed at their numbers. "Is this all you've got? You'll have to do better if you expect to defeat a deamon!" This was the true power of a Howlinka. Energy radiated in waves, shaking the ground and making the air waver with its heat. A demon borne of hell could stand it... could they? "Come forth then mutts. Show me what you have got."

Some of teh wolves caword, others laid back their ears and snarled all the more. Despite seening him in all his Howlinka glory and having had a little taster of his powers through the tremering and energy pulses, they were still deing to attack him, to drive oit such a terrible threat.

He laughed again, this time right in their faces. "So you fools are the ones who dare approach first, eh? Well then come forth cowards!"

None moved, just stood there with their hacles raised. Suddenly there was more rustling behind them and another 15 or so wolves arived. They did not pouse to look at him but threw themselves straight at the Howlinka. All teh others saw what was happening, they too attacked.

He extended his wings and a blast of wind from the buffet of their movement shot outward. He jumped into the air, his claws leaving ruts in the earth. Any wolves who didn't let go were about to get a big surprise. While Howlinka radiated power but did not have any magical control over the elements they were known to be powerful and if they didn't give up he would teach them exactly why. Hokuze hovered in the air and waited to see if the wolves would drop. "Haha!" he laughed mockingly.

Several grabbed hold of his fur and avoided teh balst, many others getting knocked back by it. Sky lost sight of him as he flew into teh air but saw several wolves fall down to the ground with pitiful yelps. Most got back up again and slunk over to join their other comrads. One dident though, he had fallen awkwerdly onto his neck, braking it and killing him instently. The site of him angered the others even more.

He let out a roar, thrashing beneath their grip. After flying even higher he folded his wings flat against his body and began to fly down in a steep dive. If they didn't release they would all be smashed into the ground.
You're being foolish Hokuze. Let me-
No. Deamon energy would murder them. We're strong but I don't-
Hmph. If Sky weren't here you would never mind me murdering.

The last wolves jumped off just before he hit the ground. But once he was that close mnay other wolves attacked him, biting and scratching at him with all their might as Sky peered round the bush she was hidding behind, desperate to see what was going on.

Like a wild beast he raged, claws striking any wolves in his way. He let out a howl. Though it was intimidating it was actually a cry for help.
Let me just-
The daemon's voice was met with a snarl. NO! ...I howled for help. That one should carry for miles. We keep defending and we hope another Howlinka comes.
If not can I-
No. If not...we fall.
Hokuze that's madness! It's idiotic!
He thrashed and felt their painful bites tear his flesh. Everyone was oblivious to the argument in his mind minus himself and the deamon.
(Hey Ryuu, ^^ feel free to have a full-blooded Howlinka or have Sky have partial Howlinka abilities since she's got it in her bloodline.)

(I was thinking about getting a demon to awake in her or some sort of dormant power to erupt but im no good at drawing wolves. Though I do have a half done wolf that if I worked on it I could use....)
For each wolf he slasshed, another took its place. Thye were in a sort of mad frenzy, ignoring their wounds and their wounded alike, all intent on trying to kill this abomination from a past they wished to forget.

(you don't have to have the picture. Since it's just us and I really only put that as a requirement to keep people from flooding it with Howlinka requests xD)
He snarled and battled with all his might but the wolves kept surging upon him like an endless sea. He was beginning to falter. Without the whole hearted support of his demon it seemed Hokuze would die. How could a Howlinka with so much potential hold back?
