There are two ways of equiering hikura pups. The first is to RP a breeding. This must consisit of 20 seperate posts. If two poeple are breeding their Hikura together, each must do 10 posts. Remember that you should only RP them getting to know each other/ talking/ playing, not the actual breeding. All posts must be at least three lines long.
Once a breeding is finished, post the link to the breeding thread on here, along with a picture of the parents and the names of the owners.
The other way is to pay for a geneticly created pup. They cost 20 coins per litter (10 each if there are two owners hikura involved.) This proccess does not hurt the parents at all and the pups are as healthy as normally bred ones. The great thing about this type of breeding is that the parents can be of the same gender as each other.
Do do one of these breedings, you of couse first need permission of the other persons whos Hikura you would like to use. Then you need to post the parents pics and the names of their owners on here like you would with a normal breeding. And then of couse post the money to me via the coin transfer thread.

Pup and breeding facts
1.Hikura always have two pups
2. They often have many mates and do not care about being faithful. They are such loving creatures, they cant help being hopelessly in love with even up to 10 others at a time. They dont see anything wrong with having lots of pups all with differnt mothers/ fathers.
3.Hikura lay eggs that have unique patterns on them. After a few days thye hatch into perfectly made minatures of their parents.
4. If one parent has a fully gradiented body then at least one of the pups will probably have some gradient on them.
5. If one has a fully gradiented body and the other has just a tiny bit of gradient, this greatly increases the chances of both pups having some gradient.
6. Gradiented pups are less likely to have other markings then none gradient pups
7. Pups are often born with markings neither of their parents have. This is becouse throwbacks are commen and they could get these odd markings from their grandpaerents or even great grandparents.
8.Judging a pups colouring and markings cane be hard and even if you did the same breeding 100 times all the pups would come out unique.

Pup PredictionsFor free I can give you a rough prediction of what the pups might come out like of any two Hikura you post here for me. You do not need anothers permition to use their Hikure in this way. No proper gradiiation will be done, only an outline of what it might be like becouse gradiation takes aaaggggeeessss..... It will also not take into account any throw backs that might acure in an actual breeding. On the other hand it could be fun to see what a Hikuras pups might look like. If you are interested please dont post up more then two combos at a time, I dont want to be flooded

*Hits head on desk harder. I can only do it for Hikura that exist. whats teh point in doing it for one that you cab never breed with becouse of the whole none existing thing? I at randomn chaose one, Dragncats white one with blue stripes (Funny how close that happens to have come to what you wanted since I did the pups before seeing that post.) I have discoverd that I adore do pup predictions. I did a couple of others for these two but they are way to awsome for your mortal eyes. But oh well, at least you allowed to see these two:  More ones to do plaese! I love them, their soooo fun! |

 I dont think they came out as well... The first one had gradient but it takes sooo long to do gradient that i just did it rough like that. |

Yay, here they are, the first batch of pups born ^^ Normaly they would be eggs for a little while, but to tell the truth, I finished the pups ages ago so theres not much point.  This first one has its mothers gradient colouring! Thats really lucky to get a pup with so much gradient from only one parent with gradient. The otehr parent must have gradient some where in his linage for thsi to happen. But still, its very rare. Its mixture of colours in the stripping is nice ^^ Unfortunetly the other one refuses to upload, should be fine tomorrow so I will try again then and fury can pick which pup she wants. |
