It was in a dark valley, with black, dead trees surrounding the small cave. T'was not even a cave; it looked more like a huge opening in the ground. Webs of enormous spiders hung near the edges of the crevice. It was quite scary, with the red glow coming from it. Peeking down, you can easily see a ladder leading down.
When you enter the large... 'cave', you see it is actually not a cave. Instead, the place is made out of mazes and very dangerous trails. Many bones are scattered about, and what looks like paw prints lead to a small clearing.

In that small clearing stood a tall, winged animal. He looked vicious, with a scar completely ruining his features. Dark grey in hue, he had the patterns of stripes on his legs and gold and silver for belly plates. His tail flicked, narrowing his light blue eyes. Fangs glowed in the dim lighting, and the male growled, spreading his plated wings. As soon as Tobi came after you, a shrill whistle was heard, and the Hikura backed off. Another creature came up. This male had a mane of fire, and resembled a horse. He was a beauty. And the only ridable Jester thus far.

Behind the calm Jester stood a bird-like creature, with stunning zebra stripes and two coloured eyes. He was a bit large, but still all together pretty. Walking over, he turned his head and cawed gently, his beak clacking. He tossed his head and beat his blue wings playfully. A playful crittur, the big Soa was.

The passage of darkness went on. Doors with locks were left and right, and then a large arch was shown. Another Hikura was standing near the doorway, her bright, electrical green eyes sparkling happily. Despite her bloody and black colouring (not to mention her scary white face), the Hikura was rather kind.
"Hello, and welcome to Emyt's lair. I apologize about Tobi and whatever else may have frightened you. Tobi is, obviously, the guard of the palace." Her voice was soft, trying to soothe your frightened self. And she did a great job.
