Inaru blinked, his unseeing eyes turning towards the new arrival. His floppy ears tilted a little with his head and his tails twitched back and forth. "I hear somebody else here... Who is it?" he asked. "Anyone you know, Aura?"

The Hikura glowered, flapping his wings and walking forwards in such a bold manner that it was surprising.
"Who are you people?" He asked, frowning slightly. He stood, looking at the blind male. Even though the blind one looked much bigger, Tobi was more confident with his powers.

"No one I know..." Aura murmured. Her hackles were raised. She looked up at her shoulder fur. It was usually flat and soft but now it seemed to stand up on end in spikes. This had never happened before. Hikura were creatures that hardly ever so much as argued but she was now quite frightened about this new commer trying to start up a fight. He just ddient feel like a normal Hikura. Just teh way he seemed to frown so much was odd... She tried to open her mouth ansd tell him angrily that who they were was none of his business but just ended up opening her mouth and then closing it again.

Suishou decided that this was no place for her to be. She was scared of the newcomer and being as her powers hadn't fully developed yet she didn't feel ready to take him in a fight. She slunk into the background and kept out of sight...

Inaru, curious, tilted his head again in the opposite direction and blinked blankly. He stood up and walked over cautiously. In the process he felt around with his tails to make sure he didn't hit anything. He gave the newcomer a poke with his tail. "...Hello?" he asked, not quite sure he'd even poked the Hikura since it could have very well been a tree or rock.

Aura slunk down on all fours to were Inaru was standing, ready to defend him if this newcommer decded to turn vialont for some reason or other. She really hoped it wouldent come to that though.

Tobi blinked, looking back at the blind Hikura. Had he poked him? "Hello there." He responded coolly, automatically dropping back to a less frightful state. He flapped his wings and glanced over at Aura.
"I apologize for any sign of being violent. I have been abused for most of my life that I do not know if I should trust anybody in particular." Tobi explained, looking back at Inaru.
"Anyway. My name is Tobicanthus; Tobi for short. Much easier to pronounce. Now, who are you two lovebirds?" He asked slyly, smirking and flicking his tails gently.

She believed hi and relaxed. But what did he mean by abused most of his life? Ryuu gave the eggs to the people, the people raised them. Had he ended up in the wrong hands as an egg or something. Had he been stolen?
Her mind was torn away from those thoughts as he called them love birds. Instaed of answering she asked "Whats a lovebird? Im not one, im a Hikura. So are you"

Tobi laughed. "Lovebirds is a term that people -- or animals -- use to describe two animals or people that are in love." He smiled warmly. "You two seem to like each other." The dark Hikura said, walking around. Tobi was curious about his surroundings.

She looked round at Inaru for a few secounds and then answered. "Like each other, yes I guess. But whats that got to do with love?" She asked Tobi in an innocent voice.

From her hiding spot, Suishou relaxed. What the newcomer was saying made sense - although there was something about him that she still mistrusted. She stepped out of the shadows and allowed herself to be seen.

Aura flicked her ears as she heard her sister return and said to her jokingly, "Oh, so there you are. I wondered where you had ran off to in such a hurry." She dident blame her sister for retreating away from the new commer a bit, he was strange.

Tobi shrugged. "It was a joke." He explained, then under his breath added, "And I'll bet you don't know what a joke is." That was mean!
Looking at the other female Hikura, he narrowed his eyes and kangarooed his head. "Uh, hi?" He asked abruptly, beating his wings gently.

She tileted her head to one side. "Of couse I knwo what a joke is. Dosent everyone?" Sge found it hard to imagine anyone not understanding a joke. But then again she hadetn realised he was just joikng...
