Artemis lay under them. The twinkled and shone like drops of gold and silver dotted across the midnight sky. Her face was relaxed and calm, some would say peaceful. Her silver bow lay next to her as did her knives. Her red hair fanned out behind her catching the moons rays and turning it scarlet. Her creatureswere curled up beside her, sleeping soundly.

Wing beats sturred the mild night air, it was a sound out of place here, but not an unattural one. What was odd, was the size of the wings that could be clearly heard above the calls of small insects and animals, but not a preticuly laod one.

Artemis woke at the sound, her wide cats eyes scanning the area. She noted that it was wingbeats.
"Shade, Flame" she said quietly and the launched themslves into the air. Flame darted around her fire lighting up the nearby area, Shade hid in the shadows her dark pattern making her invisible in the night sky. Rogue stood beisde glowing almost with power.

"Woooow!" A voice called out, using teh same sort of tone as someone talking to an unsettled horse. There were afew more wing beats and then the fire suddenly elumintaed the figure. It was Ryuu in her Magi form, mostly human but with dragon wings, claws, tail and back spikes.

Artemis looked at the flying person, "Calm" she said her her creatures shot a wary glance at Ryuu before desending to Artemis's level.
"Hello stranger, may i inquire as to your name" Aretmis said with a smile.
She stood showing how small she really was, about the size of a 12 year old child. Her rich red hair flowed down her back, the rosettes in it catching in the light. Her eyes seemed wide becuase the iris filled most of her eyes, the pupils were slits only inhancing her dark green eyes. Her tail waved behind her head and her nails were pointed like a cats.

Ryuu landed on the ground surpisingly delicutly, flaring out her large mother of pearl coloured wings to slow her desent enough to stop her breaking any limbs.
She gave Artemis her typical evil grin, flashing teeth that looked just a little too shapr for a human. "Im Ryuu, your Artemis arnt you?"

Artemis watched as she gracefully landed. She retuned the grin with one of her own,
"Nice to meet you, yes i am Artemis" Shade slid towards the other person exaining her quietly, rogue and flame were more bold walking straight up to her and looking her in the eye. Artemis followed them
"Sorry about them, they like meeting people"

Ryuu was not fazed by their attnetion and took it all in quite calmly. She saw Shade hanging back and said "You have nothing to fear from me you know. We have met before, though you will not remember as you were just an egg at the time."
She looked up at Artemis and flashed her another evil grin.

Artemis inclined her head to Ryuu and watched as Shade crept closer emerging from the shadows and stepping into the light. The pink patterns glowed on her body and her lithe form slid as easily in the light as it did in the dark. Rogue trotted foreward exaimed her swiftly adn retreated as did flame leaving shade gazing at Ryuu in wonder

She was glad the dark pelted Hikura was able to get over her fear, even if just a bit. But Ryuu was sure all she needed was time. It might take years. Or maybe just a couple of minutes standing there, not doing anything to scare she timid creature. But eventually she would coem to trust her. Well hopefully anyway...
