Thick black cloak flew behind the leather boots of the person. A hood hid the face of the intruder, and a pale hand held a gun, pointed out in front of the person's chest. The right hand of the human had a long, black tattoo running up and disappearing under the dark cloth that the gunman wore. His leather boots gently thudded on the stone floor of the ancient fortress.
His gun clicked, and the person whipped around to face the place he was coming from. The cloak was thrown back, and a man with dyed hair was shown. The black tattoo had reached all the way to the corner of his eye, ending with major eyeliner. His other eye was the same. His hair was coloured an icy, cold blue. Inhuman, and very noticeable. Silver eyes were narrowed to slits as he flicked the cloak around his legs, still pointing the gun at the hall of the castle.
Something moved. Another cloaked figure had appeared, hood down. The blue haired man lowered the gun, groaning.
"Mark, don't grrrrr....ing scare me like that!" He called to the moving figure. A hand of the hidden person rose, and he sighed, waiting for his partner to come back to him.
The redhead walked up to the other man, smiling. "Relaxxxxxxx, Luka. I looked around the place and I didn't see any other intruders." Mark smiled. Luka frowned.
"Yea, and last time you checked we were both ambushed and nearly killed."
"I didn't think the freaking women were fighters! I thought they were servants or something. Women aren't fighters in my book." Mark scoffed, withdrawing a huge sword from his back. It was made of steel, glinting in the dimly lit room. Luka sighed.
"Yea? Women don't fight? May Artemis have mercy on you for saying that." Luka responded, heaving the gun up to his shoulder and walking into a room. Mark followed, scowling softly.
"You still believe in Artemis and Zeus and everything else?" Mark asked, looking amused.
"You still believe in Hades, so shut up, Mark." Luka smirked, pointing the gun at a closet before he opened it. A few bats flew out, but the was nothing of value inside the closet. "Mark, go check the drawers for anything."
Mark nodded, then walked over to the dusty, wooden drawer. Setting his sword down, he opened the drawer with a bang. Dust exploded all over his face, and a few moths fluttered out. He grumbled and cursed under his breath before pushing some moth-eaten clothes away.
The glint of red caught his attention. "Luka! I think I found it." He said, pulling the whole drawer out and throwing the clothes at Luka's face. Luka stalked over, a bra on his head. He whipped it off, smacking Mark with the bra. Too busy over the small glint of red, Mark pressed his dirty fingers on the bottom, feeling a rough surface under his fingertips. He drew it out.
It was a small, ruby pendant. It hung on a silver coloured chain, which Mark immediately dropped.
"God damn it!" He screamed as his fingers started to burn. "Nobody told us it was on a damned silver chain!" He squealed, shaking his hand back and forth furiously. Luka chuckled, grabbing it with a gloved hand.
He pocketed the precious stone, smiling at Mark. His teeth looked unusually sharp and white. "The stupidity of young vampires." He said before turning away.
----
Mark and Luka are in an ancient castle, once deserted in the 1500's. The time now is 5500, about 3,000 years after the whole human race was wiped out. Err.. Not the WHOLE human race. The creatures, humanlike and very intelligent, have now the whole Earth to themselves. How the human race had been wiped out, nobody knew. Everything had been perfect, and it was in fact a clear day. All the animals-- not humans-- had survived, but only to die due to the lack of people. That's where the human creatures come in. There were monsters living among the people. Vampires, werewolves, dryads, centaurs, even harpies. Even some lesser gods of the Greek and Roman mythology lived. Cratos, the lesser god of war and pain, lived along with Mark and Luka. Nike was Cratos' sister, nowhere to be seen (Goddess of victory). Zelios, the god of jealousy, was also alive and well (...evil ducklings of doom.). Artemis, Hades, Dionysius, Demitra, and many major gods were still perched on Mount Olympus, enjoying their toying with the people. The world has become wild once more. The roads are long gone, and the rubble of all the skyscrabs of doomers have washed away into nothingness. The ocean, despite all the oil leaks, has become clean once more with the help of fire giants and water demons. Sunken ships lay under sand, long forgotten. Stores are deserted, but there are a few standing buildings. Vampires and werewolves have built cities from scrabs of doom, and have made many unlikely animals as their pets. Spiders the size of small cars are a common use for transportation. Horses, also. These horses, however, are made of shadow and flame. Nightmares. Huge panthers, tigers, three eyed beasts have all migrated from under the crust of the earth. Elves and dwarves had managed to live through the wipeout. The Earth is now mostly forests and plains, with many paths made from pure walking. There is no use for concrete roads; these humanish creatures enjoy the outdoors. Besides, would you really cut down a tree only to see that you're killing a dryad? I don't think so.
The plot here is that the creatures are trying to survive without any human beings. The plot can twist and turn during the role-play.
----
You may role-play any sort of creature you'd like, but the population mostly consists of vampires and werewolves. Bear this in mind while you make your characters. OOH. Can someone please have a character that comes up to Mark and Luka? I'll be bored to Hell if not. :( ALSO: Please, in your first post, please state what sort of creature your character(s) is (are). Like: (My character, Joe, is a centaur. My other character, Fred, is a vampire. The unknown character is an elf. (Her name's Freditta)) -post post post-
Not that hard 8D Sorry for the uber long freaking post. XD OH, I have another char that's a centaur, just so you know. -shot- You can have as many characters as you want, too. :3
((P.S. (Yea, this is getting really long.) If you want to play a God, PM me for now and wait until I give you an OK. Tell me what God you want to be, too :D Cratos is taken. >.> <.< :D))
((P.P.S. (Holy crabs of doom. I should stop writing.... o-o) If you are confused about anything in this RP, PM me and I'll get to you as soon as possible. OH. You don't have to introduce your characters all at once. And the vampires and werewolves are not yet at war (They will be, though.), but there has been some discrimination (is that the right word? oO) between the two species. Others, like centaurs, fawns, dryads, and everything, are trying not to choose a side, but some of the creatures fight often for what they believe in. They're sort of in the middle. You know what I mean?))
((P.P.P.S. This is the last PS. I hope. o3o)) --
I LIED :D This place is reserved for meh and the first post too for characters and plots and whatnot. Info I need to keep this thing alive. OKAY IM DONE NOW. (I hope.)
I lied again. This whole thing is based around pretty much Greek mythology and... Dungeons and Dragons. Or any of those sort of games. XDD

(This character's of an ancient family, descended from the creature Echidna and her children, untill they've taken on a humanlike shape. this species has no name, except perhaps "monsters," for their appearance varies greatly from one to another and they're hard to classify. Though, this man appears slightly reptilian.)
"A pretty bauble ya got there."
The voice came from the opposite wall, that Luka had just turned to face. There hung an upside-down man, looking barely as old as the two vampires did. But he obviously wasn't one of them. Clinging to the stone wall by only what appeared to be the underside of his bare foot, The half-naked man wore only a pair of tattered jeans. He'd obviously tried to patch up at one time or another, but poorly- the stitches were coming loose, and gaping holes revealed his dry skin.
His top half commanded more attention- his thin torso showed his ribs, like spider's legs, and each breath made his chest chest rise, hiding them again. Short, unkept hair fell from his head, colored dusty blonde, and his face was thin- his cheekbones, too, were showing.
He was grinning, as well, eternally-narrowed black eyes glistening. From his teeth hung a limp cigar. (How he'd gotten it in the vacant building was a mystery, but it was nearing it's end. It glowed dimly, and was burnt down to as far as one would allow.) He scratched at the skin on his left cheek- papery and cracked like dried mud. Dead skin fell from his touch.

Mark turned to look at the sudden, unfamiliar sound. He squeaked, pointing the gun immediately towards the strange man. The young, inexperienced vampire looked frantically towards Luka, then back at the strange looking man. His hand quivered, as if afraid to shoot.
"Who is this freak, Luka?!" Mark yelped. Luka rounded in on him, his silver eyes blazing.
"You tell me; who? Were'nt you supposed to check the dang place?!" The vampire snarled, looking back at the upside down man. His gloved hands pocketed the ruby pendant, and he then gazed up at the man.
"Hello there. Tell me, who are you?" Luka asked, his fangs elongating slowly. He fought the urge to attack the reptilian man, and hoped Mark did too. Instead, Mark was lowering his gun and taking a few steps back. Luka sighed.
"I am Luka, and my partner is Mark."

The man's grin faultered a bit, but he remained smiling. His head kangarooed to one side, and he rolled the cigarette from one corner of his mouth to the other.
"If you're always this jumpy, I'm surprised you have friends. Likely to get shot."
Suddenly, he dropped from the wall, head-first. somehow he was able to land safely on his feet by doing some sort of mid-air flip, only suffering a bit of dizzyness upon landing. This soon passed, and again he faced the two vampires. "Anyway, I doubt your partner wouldn've seen me, unless he checked the ceiling. I'm Aden."
He then took his cigarette in his hands, still burning. He dropped it on the ground, grinding it into the stone floor with a bare left foot, and held out his dusty and scarred hand to Luka.

Luka watched Aden, then quietly grasped his scarred hand with his own, smooth, pale hand. "It is good to see another creature here, even if you were..." Luka glanced at the violent redhead with a glare. "Even if you were unexpected." His pale eyes reeled back towards Aden. "What causes you to be here, Aden?" He asked, testing the man's name on his tongue. It fit perfectly.
Somewhere in a lonely forest several miles away from the ruined castle, a young horse played with a small bow and arrow. His body was covered with brown markings on a white canvas, and his small tail curled like a small cows would. However, where his neck should have been, was a torso. It was of a small little boy's, with a round face covered in berry paste. Small horns protruded near his large horse ears, showing that he was not only part centaur.
Giving out an excited giggle, the foal trotted towards a make-shift target. Pulling his arrow back, the playful orphan shot. It hit dead on target. "Yeah!" Tory said cheerfully.

"Well done," came a voice. It was musical as the wind and just as lighthearted. Still it held some sorrow behind it that couldn't possibly belong. It was misplaced.
The Angel jumped down from her tree branch perch and stood before him. Her black hair streamed with her movement and the black and red fabric of her dress ruffled as well. She took a second to smooth the folds then met his gaze with her own bright green emerald chipped eyes. Feathers cascaded from her back in four ebony and midnight blue wings, the two sets almost looking like one from the close intricate overlaying of the feathers. She stood still.
(yay Kanzali <3)

The strange ma smirked. "No reason, really. Came across the place, and decided it looked like the sorta place with a lotta good loot. Turns out it was already gone by the time I got here... 'never ame across the necklace, though. Hm."
He paused for a moment, his expression blank. But he quickly started up again. "Anyway, I found out it was a pretty quiet place, and comfy, too. Settled right in, even have a 'lil garden out there." Aden made a little gesture towards the southern wall of the room, and his hand returned to his pocket. "You're the first two 'people' I've seen 'round here, though. I figure you must have come for something... special?" His eye flickered to Luka's pocket for a fraction of a second.

Tory turned at the sudden noise. His bright eyes glinted as he saw a black haired girl; the centaur was automatically startled. The young centaur skittered back, then fell onto his rump. Turning his horned head towards the angel, he let out a small whimper.
"Who are you?" He whispered, his berry-smeared face locked in an expression of disbelief.
--
Luka chuckled as Aden spoke. His silvery eyes glinted cheerfully, and he withdrew the pendant once more. "We were looking for this. And some other artifacts that perhaps were taken. " He shrugged.
Mark laughed, looking at the man. "You got a garde'?" He asked randomly, only to be smacked by Luka.

"Me? I'm just a nobody of an Angel. The Shephard of Souls easily put... An Arch Angel if need a specific term. Or rather I should be."
Her answer was calm and simple. She wouldn't lie to him... just not tell the whole truth. She was an Arch Angel still. Technically. After all she was a Fallen but they (other Angels who would punish her) had not taken away her wings or powers. She didn't want them to. After all she had never done anything bad, only defended her friend who happened to be a Demon they wished to kill for no reason. Bloody hypocrites! ...And her close friend Kartik- an Angel like her- had seen this and helped her. He had died saving her and Der, the Demon.

Aden didn't seem to be bothered by Mark's rather rude attitude."Yeah. As you can see, there's not much food around here that hasn't already been nibbled on by rats or completely deteriorated. So I 'ave to grow my own. I've gone huntin' a few times, though."
He then glanced from one vampire to the other. "So,wait, you guys are the only ones in here, right? Nobody else? I'd prefer as few people around as possible- keep the place quiet, you know."
(Sorry, writer's block.)
