It was huge. A large farm lay a little bit away from the other stores. The white fencing had looked charred and burnt, and it stretched out for miles on end. The once green grass had unusual fire marks and burnt places. A large pool was at one side, and a big hill that went up to the sky.
At all these places there were small buildings, but a main house--or shoppe-- was at the front. It looked quite nice, actually. It was light beige in colour, and a small, handpainted sigh said 'Open!'
Walking inside, you noticed that a small bell rang. A man, around the age of twenty one came up to the counter. He had a normal baseball cap on his head, and his white hair was pulled back into a neat ponytail. A blindfold hung loosely around his neck. The back wall, behind him, held a variety of saddles and bridles.
Taking in your appearance, Emyt grinned. "'Allo!" He said happily, leaning on the long counter with his two hands. He was more childish than you thought.
"Are you here for the newest Jester Pyres? I'm only giving away one to each customer; they're taking over the whole field! The Airs and Waters are still breeding, so the won't be up yet."
"Here, have a form!" Bending down, he grabbed a small stack of papers and took one and slid it over towards you. A pen was thrusted at you also. Emyt looked eager for some customers.

Ryuu studdied the form with eyes like a cats. She put the pen to the form, unconciously sticking out her snake like toung slightly as she wrote what she wanted.
Base Colour:very very dark gray
Eye Hue:deep blue
Hat/Ear Colour(s):purpley blue
Front Leg Marking Colour(s):middlish blue
Armour Knee Colour:silver gray
Markings? Or something else?: a gray blaze running down its nose and a slight dapling pattern round its back quarters in a lighter gray then the body. Also could it have a silver chain round its neck with a diomoned pendulem on the end?

Emyt quietly took the piece of paper. Scanning it, he snapped his fingers and grinned up at Ryuu. "I have just the thing for you!" He said happily. "Well, I have two of them. I'll show you the first one, though." He said, walking over to a door that led into the paddock.
"Just follow me." He said, skipping outside, leaving the door open. "And the door shuts by itself, so no need to close it!" Emyt said happily. The piece of paper had been shoved into his pocket, and the boy went off towards an enormous stable. The only time he paused was when a light grey Jester -- the same one that was on the ad-- came up to see what was going on.
"That's Tripoli, my Jester. He's the oldest and the most experienced. I breed him too; the offspring are simply amazing." Emyt explained as he entered the barn with a few pieces of what looked like black rocks.
"Now then, this is Jester has a twin, but it doesnt have any dapples. Dapples are rare, but nobody really likes 'em." He shrugged, opening the door and handing charcoal over to the beast. He led it out, though no lead or halter was on the animal.

Ryuu went over to it slowly, allowing it to move away if it felt uncomfortuble with her. It dident seem to mind though and lifted its muzzle to meet Ryuus outstratched hand. "You are gorgous" Ryuu told the Jester Pyre. She turned to to Emyt and grinned. "Its perfect."

Artemis strolls in trying to calm the panther that walks beside her. "Hello" she says her voice traveling through the shopped. SHe let a sly smile escape her lips as she looked Emyt beofre turning to check on the pather. As he laid down the paper she picked it up and began to write

Emyt grinned, then skipped back to the store, stopping in front of the new person and grinning widely. "Hey!" He said happily, taking the slip of paper and humming.
"I have a perfect one!" He said, then walked past Ryuu and back into the stables. A lead rope was put into Artemis's hand. "You're gunne need that. This one's a bit fiesty." He said, opening a door and leading out a female Jester.

OMg its so pretty *hugs boredum*
\Artemis smiles at it "Its beautiful" thankyou" she said and took it s rope and stroked it. she could feel its power and gentle murmered to it. The panther pressed its nose to it adn the both touched noses. Artemis left stroking its back fondly.

Emyt grinned. "No problem. This was the first offspring of Trippy, so it's sad to see her go." He said, shaking his head. "But it's business." He shrugged, then walked back to the small store.

Sina picked up the form, having never heard of a Jester Pyre before, much less seen one. However, glancing at the small note at the bottom of the slip and the equipment tacked up behind the counter, she could only guess they were equine.
There was still something that bothered her- the 'pyre' part. Being a slight pyrophobic, the only reason she'd chosen Pyavra, a fire elemental, as her Soattou (aside from her taking care of Aarin when Sina was traveling,) was because she rarely used her firepower. But what was she to expect from a creature named after fire?
Nonetheless, she filled out the form for the childish vendor.

Eye Hue: Green
Hat/Ear Colour(s): Beige
Front Leg Marking Colour(s): Silver-Grey
Armour Knee Colour: Black
Markings? Or something else?: Make 'er pinto, and I'd like this to be tucked in her mane.
Gender?: Female
Beside the blank for Markings and Extra, she'd taped a large, brown and cream hawk feather she'd found just ouside. But not knowing what the mane was really made of, she would probably be in for a surprise if that didn't work as planned. Perhaps it would be best if Emyt did the best with what he had. |
