Is a Soattou. They're very friendly, do not fret. Just treat them kindly.

The sign outside of the small shop doesn't grab your attention right away, it's so old and colorless.
In a nearby window, the faded red letters 'For Sale!' are stretched across the glass. Looking inside the window, you find that it is, in fact, a pet shop. The expansive room is lined with shelves of feed, and somewhere in the back you see cages sitting side by side. There are creatures moving about them, but you cannot tell what they look like through the murky window.

The small bell above the door rings happily as you enter. Surprisingly, there's a very young girl at the counter, who smiles at you invitingly. In her odd eyes, there's a flicker of recognition.

"You must be a Suteki keeper, aren't you? Do you raise many pets?" She smiles again. Oh, I do not manage this shop, I'm just looking after it while the real owner is... on holiday. I'm afraid we don't have that big of a selection of pets... however!" Her expression lights up, and she begins rummaging around behind the counter.

"We've had a large shipment of Soattou lately. They're very well-behaved, easy to raise... you want one?" She tosses a memo to you across the counter. On it, it reads:

"That's the order form. Soattou come in so many colors, that if you request a certain color pattern, chances are we can find one that matches. I'm Sina, by the way."

While you're deciding whether or not to get a bird, Sina skips off to tend to the animals. You're free to look around if you want, just signal the girl when you're ready to order.

The shop was old, aye. But Emyt always enjoyed to see whatever there was inside all of the small shops and stores. Even before he had been corrupted and tortured.

But that isn't a story for today. Today it was to buy another darling pet. Perhaps a bit nicer than the other one.

As Sina continued on talking and explaining, Emyt took out a pen, scribbling idly on the small memo. He hummed to himself, his darling blue eyes often glancing up to look around. Paranoia?

Soon, he yawned, pressing the small piece of paper across the counter with the pen.

Artemis walked in her eyes darting curiously to the different creature, she could feel there thoughts, they gazes as the locked onto the hunter. She approached the counter and listened to the young girl talking to her, she nodded at her words and picked up the form, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a pen with deer fur wrapped around it. SHe began to write

Sina came bounding back to the counter once she realized Emyt had finished. trying to hide her unease at his preasence, she scanned over the memo, nondding to herself occasionally.

"Ah!" She suddenly exclaimed, "We have just the one. What a curious fur pattern, though..."

She turned, dissapearing behind a red curtain that led to the storage area. After a few quick moments, she comes back out, leading a Soattou by a rope. The creature tugs at it's lead and tries to nip at Sina, but immediatly calms down at the sight of Emyt, almost as if it were trying to make a good impression on him.

"Carefull, this one's feisty," The caretaker warns, and hands the rope over to her customer. "And unusually large and strong for it's species. But I believe you can handle it." She waves him off, signaling to the demon boy that he may leave.

Now, Sina turns her attention towards Artemis, smiling politely. Once Artemis too finishes her Soattou discription, Sina picks it up daintily and scans over the list of colors.

"Ah, red and gold. To be honest, not my most favourite of colors, but they still look very lovely together. Hold on one moment, as I get your Soa."

Again, she slips behind the curtain, and comes back out again with a different bird, it's fur and feathers gleaming in the soft light of the hanging lamps in the store. This one obviously likes to keep itself well-groomed, and walks with royal grace. Head held high, it examines it's new owner, before nodding slightly. Yes, this one would do just fine.

Ryuu handed over the application, hoping that there woudl be one like that that was at least close to fitting her description. She dident mind if it diddent though, she thought that they all looked so pretty. Ahe also hoped her hadnrwritting was OK, back in her home world people had always being complaining and since arriving in Suteki she hadent done much writting...

After reading through Ryuu's application as well, Sina replied, "Ah! Lovely choice of colors. Let me just..." When suddenly there was a screech from the back.

A Sattou leaped through the entrance of the back room, nearly toppling Sina over. However, this creature was not the one Ryuu had requested, colored maroon and crimson, with black streaks randomly splattered across her fur.



The creature eyed the dragon hybrid suspiciously, before nuzzling up to her apparent caretaker, Sina. Sina, however, didn't look awefully surprised, and smiled at Ryuu apologetically.

"Er, I'm sorry. This is Pya, who is supposed to be back home..." She shot the Soa an accusing glance, but Pyavra seemed to take no notice and purred contentedly.

"Anyway, Pyavra, since you're here... would you mind going to the back and finding this pet?" She showed the memo to the bird, who squaked in response, "Sure thing!" and leaped again through the doorway. Turning back to Ryuu, Sina explained- "Pya's a talker. If you want, you can actually teach these birds to talk- they're quite intelligent."

Now, Pyavra came gliding back with a younger Soattou in tow. This one glanced around warily, before giving Ryuu a small smile.

Ryuu smiled at the little Soattou who was supposed to be at home. It was cute and Ryuu found the way it had followed Sina here cute as well. She hoped she would be able to get hers to talk. It was beautiful and Ryuu loved the bluey-purple of its wings. The markings werent anything like what she had expected but she thought the looked very pretty anyway. She smiled at it, wondering what on earth its name could be. She slowly walked over to it and strocked it ander its chin. It seemed to like that and happily followed Ryuu out the shop. As she left so waved goodbye to Sina and called back a thankyou.

Kriia paused outside the small shop for a moment, deciding whether or not to go in. Finally, she made her choice and pushed open the door. She smiled as she looked around the small shop. She took one of the forms and began to fill it out with a pencil she found on the counter.

Sina, her smile wider than ever at today's business, picked up Kriia's form and began reading. However, Pya, always a step ahead, had already scanned over the paper and led out another Soa from the back room, the colors matching the ones described on the memo.



The creature stepped out into the open, and apon seeing Kriia, leaped over the counter gracefully, did a 180 degree spin apon landing, and in less than a second was watching Sina across the counter at it's new owner's side. Sina, wide eyed, replied- "Um... okay, have fun with your new Soattou..."

Seeing as you posted without roleplaying, Kitkat, I won't bother replying with a roleplay either. xD Sorry if that seems rude, but my muse is kinda lost today, too.

Watching the her two last customers walk away with their new pets, Sina noted it was getting darker outside, or it so appeared, because of the ill-kept window. However, the street lamps were on, so it was obviously getting late. Sina turned to her own Soattou.

"Well then, Pyavra. Waddaya say we close up shop? I'm tired, and I think Nergur's even been asleep this whole time."

The Soa nodded. "Of course, dear. I'll can fly us home, then we'll return in the morning." Sina rolled her eyes. "We? Pffft, not a chance. You can escort me back tomorrow, but then I'll stay, and you'll fly back home to watch the others."

With a dissatisfied squak and a ruffle of her feathers, Pyavra turned to flip the lightswitch with a peck of her beak, as Sina made her way over to the front door. On the outer handle, she hung a sign, the paint as weathered and chipped as the sign outside.

CLOSED.

After doing so, she locked the door, then Sina and Pya left through the back entrance after making sure the animals had enough food and water to last them through the night.

The reason I closed it was because it seemed like all the most active members had already gotten them... that, and I got rather tired. but, I'll reopen. ^^)

It's the next day, and the pet shop is again open for buisness.


Sina leaped lightly off the back of her mount, the talkative Soattou that accompanied her yesterday. This morning, however, Pya seemed rather sulky. Without saying a word to her keeper, she leaped into the cloudless, dark sky, as it was still extremely early in the morning. Sina yawned, and pawed around in her bag for the key to the front door. Today, she was wearing a silky blue dress- the kind of thing one would expect a girl her age to wear. Nergur kept silent in her head- an outburs from him while she was working could cause her to snap back, and then get fired for scaring away customers when seeming insane.

She finally found the small, silver key, and jammed it into the lock on the door's handle. It took a few times for the rusted old mechanism to turn. Once it did, she opened the door to let in the fresh morning air while it was still cool. In the middle of summer, she prefered staying as cold as possible. She unhooked the "Closed" Sign, and slid it into a drawer behind the desk.

Well then, Nergur, She yawned inside her head, I think I'm ready for a new day at work.

(haha yeah, I have my own adoptables but I've been too lazy to retrace the base to save it in the proper format so hence why I'm so far behind)

A rather lazy, and tired, looking girl walked in. Her brown hair was a mess and the slight bags under her eyes did not go so well with the blue triangle tattoos that were below her lower lids. Her tail and wings were carried in a way just enough to keep them from dragging the floor. Still once she saw the form she perked up. "Time for a new friend!" she grinned.

Eye Patch Color: light blue (ice blue)
Feet Color: blue (couple shades darker than the eye patch)

Wing Color 1: blue (same shade as Sonic the hedgehog please xD)

Markings: Sonic blue (again xD), a few (meaning maybe five maximum) stripes on the front legs and back legs

After filling out the form, the water demon's face had gone from tired to excited.

However, it seemed as if the girl behing the desk was currently... napping.

In her seat, Sina was dozing peacfully. Her eyelids flickered, but remained closed.

Then, suddenly, her eyes snapped open and she was jolted into conciousness, as if somebody had shook her into waking up. She blinked slowly a few times, before she seemed to notice Kayla. Without a word she took the form from across the counter. Glancing over it, (And blushing severely,) she mumbled something like, "I'll get your Soattou..." and drug herself to the back room.

When she came back, she was leading a beautiful beast.



This one seemed plenty happy to see it's new owner, and leave the dingy pet shop. It sauntered around the counter to Kayla's side, where it nudged at her arm.

"Have fun with your new pet," Sina managed to make a lazy smile, before it turned into another yawn. Frankly, she was surprised to have a customer so early in the morning...

Overjoyed, Kayla gave Sina a hug. "She's beautiful! Thank you!" In utter adoration she gently stroked the Soattou's beak lightly. "I can't believe you're mine... Wow."
