As soon as her father came in, the daughter sat up quickly, making sure not to look him in the eye. The cat leaped off the table nervously when the trader heavily clomped over.
She watched him silently. It was clear he was having trouble figuring out what to do with the stuck creature. And it was true, this Hybrid would make good money on the market. It would be a shame to have to destroy the horns, they were what would give him his value.
She got back up, and shuffled over, her bare feet kicking up dust. "'Ere... let me try." She said softly.
With her small, nimble fingers, she worked at bending away the flimsy wood that made up the penticorn's cage. She wouldn't dare touch his horns. Her father never let her touch the animals.
Eventually, through her carefull picking and pulling, she'd got enough space between the bars to let his horn slip back inside. She stepped back, glanced up at her father, and quickly looked back down at her feet again and slid out the door, realizing that she was uneeded at the moment. It was time to unload.
Her cat merely watched the whole ordeal and slid outside after her. [/center]

If she had tried to interfier with anything else but thinsg liek this, he would have likely cuffed her over the head or shouted at her. but her small, nimble fingures had doen good in the past, weaving poor quality clouth to sell when they mythicak creature business was waning. She had also helped bangedge up a couple of the less precious creatures before. It was right that he woudlent let her touch most of the animals he brought in, damn girl would probably get her fingers bitten off, and what use would she be to him then? And anyway, touching magical creatures coudl lead to a softer hearted being building up a connection to them, and that was not what he wanted at all.
